Liebe Unterstützer:innen unserer Initiative, liebe Kolleg:innen, seit mittlerweile knapp 3 Jahren setzen wir, die Initiative #abbrechenabbrechen/ JustizzentrumErhalten, uns dafür ein, das Justizzentrum in der Nymphenburger Straße in München in einem offenen Prozess mit der Stadtbevölkerung als ein überregionales Vorzeigeprojekt für Sanierung und Umnutzung zu denken. Statt sich den Bedürfnissen der Münchner*innen anzunehmen, verfolgt der Freistaat mit dem geplanten Verkauf des Areals eine längst überholte Form der Stadtentwicklung und Liegenschaftspolitik. Pressemitteilung des Freistaats dazu siehe: https://www.stmb.bayern.de/med/pressemitteilungen/pressearchiv/2025/69/inde… Privatisierung ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß, birgt das Risiko monofunktionaler Strukturen und vergibt die Chance, den Bestand klimafreundlich und gemeinwohlorientiert weiterzuentwickeln. Dabei böte gerade das Strafjustizzentrum die Möglichkeit, gemeinsam Lösungen für die selbstgesteckten Klimaziele im Bausektor zu entwickeln – Lösungen, die in Zukunft dringend gebraucht werden.
